So I began watching the first two episodes of Ballmasterz 9009 and I find this series both random and the pacing is quick. I did get some laughs from it and some the animation looks good, especially these badass moments (Like this scene for example). To me, it gives me a studio Trigger vibe.
The moment I saw the trailer, I knew this series was gonna be making fun of the anime genre, it kinda feels like it is due to one character in particular looking like one and boy does she have a temper, along with this other girl from another team looking like a magical girl.
Plus, Dana Snyder, another reason why I’m watching him. Grew up with his voice when Aqua Teen Hunger Force came out and I especially liked him in A Letter to Momo
Overall, at the moment I give this series a rating of 5/10. Keep in mind by the time I posted this gif that only two episodes were available. My rating may change as the series goes on.
