I have mobility & anxiety issues but a lot of transmasc resources say stuff like "go out and do this" which I can't really do. So maybe you guys can post disability-friendly resources? Personally, I'd like to see stuff on ways to cope with dysphoria. Maybe some apps recommendations or websites? It'd be nice if you guys could post positivity now and then, too! Thank you so much. You guys are doing a wonderful thing.

I understand this so much!

I have an IPhone and a Windows computer, so sorry if my app/site recommendations don’t work for everyone!

Apps:

  • LongStory: High school/Dating (but also has options for aros) playthrough RP game. Lets you choose your appearance and pronouns. Also available for Android!
  • Neko Atsume/Cat Collector: Not trans related at all, but helps me a lot with anxiety! Basically you set food and toys out for cats and they visit you. Very popular and has a (from my experience) trans-friendly fanbase on Tumblr! Also available for Android.
  • Hamster Collection: Same as Neko Atsume, but more interactive and not quite as popular.
  • BoosterBuddy: Really good app for people with anxiety, depression, etc. Also does medication reminders.
  • Thisissand: Another just super calming app. Less cutesy than the apps above which you may prefer. Available for Android and also online!
  • Pretty much any game where I can play as a male character helps me out. I don’t have any specific recs at the moment though.

Computer:

  • Again, pretty much any game where I can play as a male character. Right now, I like D&D online and Ascend: Hand of Kul (Steam) Both are free.
  • Watching trans Youtubers! I like UppercaseCHASE1(he/him), penicilliumpusher (they/them) and Sebastian Columbine(they/them) A lot of people also like Milo Stewart (he/him or they/them, if I remember correctly) and I like their old videos, but am not a fan of the new stuff.
  • The Pronoun Dressing Room: Stories with the name and pronouns of your choice
  • Trans positivity/validation blogs on Tumblr.
  • Social Dysphoria: The Game: “Shoot” at people who misgender you. TW: Transphobic slurs and misgendering
  • Personalized compliments with your name
  • Learn a bunch of cool astrology stuff. (You have to pick male or female, though. ene)

Other:

My main tactic is distraction, so that’s what a lot of this is. ^^ Hopefully some of this works for you!
