Quiet Company - “Aloha”

SXSW 2019 - OEB Score: 8; Popularity Index: 8

Pairs Well With…Manchester Orchestra, Weezer, Delta Spirit

Just about every year over the past decade has featured a SXSW set from Quiet Company and 2019 will be no different. The exciting indie/alt rock artists will be supporting a new EP - On Corners & Shapes is previewed by the yearning, bouncy rock track “Aloha”, a song that marries tension and lush orchestration in a unique and adventurous way.

2015 Review: Quiet Company has evolved into one of the tighter power pop/rock bands in the land these recent years, a sound the band looks to be exploring even further with their upcoming fourth full-length Transgressor.  The hints come in lead track “Seven Hells”, a full, classic rock and roll song, one that builds with 90s energy while clearly showing off the band’s instinctive songwriting chops.  This could be an interesting one - Quiet Company has built a solid reputation album by album and continues to improve.
