AJMLS June Prospective Open House

Students interested in attending law school in Atlanta are invited to join Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School for an open house.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a mock class presentation and learn more about the school. The event takes place on Saturday, June 17, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Blackburn Conference Center located at 1405 Spring Street, Atlanta, GA 30309.

Situated in the heart of Georgia, Atlanta's John Marshall Law School (AJMLS) offers its students a variety of programs of legal study, including full- and part-time J.D. programs, a specialized honors JD program in criminal justice, an online LL.M. program in employment law, and, for foreign trained lawyers, an online LLM program in the American legal system. Atlanta's John Marshall Law School also offers foreign trained lawyers an in-class version of that same LLM degree program which, under some circumstances, may qualify its graduates to take an American bar examination. The school takes pride in the diverse backgrounds and talents of its students, who come from across the country to study in an accepting community. One of AJMLS’ most well received programs is the Legal Skills and Professionalism Program. Teaching students legal writing skills that will help them during law school and in the workforce, the course requires Research and Analysis and Legal Writing credits to be completed during the first year. Both core courses give students the skills necessary to prepare legal documents that are persuasive as well as objective. Elective second and third-year classes include Advanced Appellate Advocacy, Trial Advocacy & Writing, and Pretrial Practice & Procedure.

Students who have completed the Legal Skills and Professionalism program at AJMLS praise it for providing them with critical tools that they need to successfully argue and write the law as professional advocates.
