Great questions anon!
Hmm, it’s difficult because I think all women have their pros, if I HAD to choose I would say Phoebe because season 1 still remains my favourite season. I’ve loved them all but season 1 was just absolutely fantastic when it came to the drama, the shocks and the humour.
When it comes to who has been the most pro V&E I would almost have to say Suzanne! Phoebe gave us fantastic tension between them both but it was just the beginning of their obsession. Emerald blessed us with many iconic Villaneve moments which I am thankful for but I also feel like many of their interactions were offset too much by hetero antics. When Eve received the flowers from V she had sex with Niko, when Hugo asked Eve if she liked being watched or doing the watching she almost kissed him and then we had the earpiece scene offset by Eve using Hugo so I guess it all put a bit of a dampener on their relationship and connection, ending the season on Eve rejecting V which was just SO painful to watch!
Although in season 3 Villaneve scenes have been severely lacking WE GOT A KISS!! followed by the wonderful scene of Eve holding the heart to her ear to listen to V’s voice on repeat and THEN we got the most romantic thing ever with Eve running alongside the train just longing for a glimpse of V! Not to mention what we’re looking forward to in the finale…. a SLOW DANCE. Suzanne has done a wonderful job of developing V as a character in humanizing her and in showing for the first time in the series Eve coming to accept how she truly feels for V and wanting to pursue it. Suzanne is bringing us the closest to canon V&E we’ve ever been and it certainly makes up for the absence of scenes together if we are heading towards something so beautiful between them.
