here’s an accurate representation of me before/during/after tonight’s episode of new girl. listen… i get it.. nick and reagan will break up.. nick and jess will get back together (kind of, hopefully).. i get it. but listen,

this episode sucked for multiple reasons. let’s ignore scheme’s storyline for now, same with winston and aly because they were hella cute. but listen… that flashback they showed of nick and jess… horrible. i mean, cute, they were in bed together, but the overall meaning? horrible. they keep making it look and sound like when they were in a relationship they weren’t romantic with each other at all… uhm, hello? are you kidding me? have you not seen every episode from season 1 episode 1??? why the fuck are they putting their main character through this? the big storyline here is that after all this time, she is still in love with her best friend… ok but what do they do? throw her in crappy storylines to keep from actually building up their reunion. i’m so, so, so disappointed in nick miller because the nick miller i know would’ve been considerate to jess’ feelings.  he wouldn’t have said that in front of the woman he used to love. the writers keep hinting- wait no, not hinting, plastering all over the screen how nick and reagan are horrible together. they have soooo many opportunities to develop nick, man… it’s really testing my patience especially considering this main character of theirs came to the realization that she loves her best friend in season 5 episode 22. are you kidding me… i now have high hopes for the next episode because they’re really running out of time and room for this reunion. this is so messy, you guys. so messy.

also, jess’ face. broke me. wtf. alsooo, winston bishop is a true ass friend.
tell me again how long these people have been friends?? and you’re telling me winston bishop has been the only one around to notice and to care and to make sure to check in with jess? uhm, hello? cece… best friend… where you at? you appeared in jaipur aviv with protectiveness then you gone… and schmidt? oh schmidt. nick miller’s best friend… what you doing, son… what are you doing? ya’ll got so distracted with your own lives that you’re just gonna forget about everything in the loft? cool cool. i really hope schmidt redeems himself in the next episode for wanting to break up nick and jess before. boy better do his friend right.

aaaalsooooo, that proposal. wow. jess crying. wow. winston and aly has got it good. and they deserve it.

that ending between nick and jess proving that truly, deep down, they are each other’s valentine’s? okay… it salvaged the episode just a bit.
