Remembering those killed in Egypt on this day six years ago. A terrifying day and a divisive moment that still polarizes Egyptians today. At least 1000 people were killed when a joint military and police campaign violently cleared a sit in by members of the now banned Muslim Brotherhood. A battle over ideology, power and survival that has left the country confused over its identity as warring parties point fingers at each other. “Are you with us or against us?” In a country of 100 million, surely it’s enough to side with just being #Egyptian ❤️
