Dating Spencer Reid headcanons

• You two got together after 6 months you joined the team

• It wasn’t love at first sight, acutally he’s been pretty sceptical about you

• After all those team members who left he was affraid you wouldn’t be as good as they were

• Or worse, you would and than you woudl leave the team suddenly like all of them did

• But after time he discovered how awesome you were and how much alike you two were

• You had book in your hand any time you could

• You loved coffee and you two would bump into each other so often in the small kitchenette

• And you were passionate learner which he loved the most

• When Rossi and Tara gushed about cars you joined the coversation, esthatic to learn something new

• When JJ talked about her kids, you get into looong conversation about how you loved kids, shared your experiences with your nephews and nieces and listened to her talking about her experiences and tips

• And when he once played chess on the plane by himself you quickly sat across him insisting on him teaching you

• He gladly did, thinking you would get bored after sometime, but he was pleasantly surprised when you didn’t

• Actually you were pretty good

• Well you didn’t actually win over him once, but it was interesting to play againist you

• And when you weren’t playing chess you talked about your favorite books or music or coffee shops or movies

• Everyone knew pretty quickly that you two were perfect for each other and you both deserved someone who would be the perfect match

• So after some teasing from literally everyone, mostly derek and JJ you finally went on a date

• You both iniciated it, because once when you were making coffee penelope wouldn’t stop talking about how perfect you two were for each other and Derek wouldn’t shut up about how pretty boy needed some girl finally, you both couldn’t take it and at the same time blurted out if the other one would like to go out

• It was sweet and it got squealing noises from Garcia and gushing about her otp getting together

• The date itself wasn’t exactly a date type of date

• You two just went for some thai you brought to Spencer’s apartment and than talked about pretty much everything and watched some old movies until you both fell asleep on the couch

• And from there you were dating which included

• Sitting next to each other on plane or conference room

• Lunches together

• Him rambling random facts and you loving it and listening to every single one even tho everyone else was just rolling eyes and sighing

• Which he loved so much, and he got flustered everytime because you didn’t think he was annoying

• Going for coffe every morning and than walking to work 

  • Weekend sleepovers which started with a movie and takeout (which became your tradition) and ended in the bedroom

• Sleepovers when you came back really late after a case and crushing his place because he lived closer (you actually had some clothes there because of these ocasions) and falling asleep instanly cuddled to each other

• Going to nerdy geeky conventions, because he made a geek out of you

• After some time visiting Diana

• And she, even tho she was affraid you would hurt her beloved son, realizing how perfect you were for him and loving you like her own daugher

• She actually wrote you a letter and you exchanged some (gushing about Spencer and how cute he was when he was young) which made Spencer very proud that you loved each other

• Which he was scared about if it ended up badly

• Having Doctor Who and Startrek marathon on your annivesaries (neither of you like going out which was perfect)

• Him proposing to you on your 5th anniversary

• Living hapilly ever after with all the ups and downs which only made your love stronger

God there is so much fluff in it
