Striving for Sanity

Let's get the weird bit out of the way first. I am a little, okay a LOT obsessed with cephalopods, my favorite being the blue ringed octopus. I love to read and write, my favorite genre is fantasy (wizards, and magic, and dragons, oh my!) I dig musicals, anime, mmorpg gaming, and The Office. I have two extremely obnoxious cats, Loki and Isis (The Egyptian goddess of mythology, not to be confused with a group of angry terrorists) I love my cats, and they love...torturing me, well that and tuna.This blog is a way to get my strange and deviant ideas on paper (so to speak). A place where I can practice some rough creative writing, share fantasy and sci-fi book recommendations, crafting/scrapbooking finds or projects, and an assortment of other random oddities I might find amusing.
