This moment is so close to my heart. It’s my favorite Rey scene, and that’s saying something.
Here, after Kylo basically tries to mansplain the Force to her, Rey reaches for the Force, takes two deep breaths, and looks at Kylo with cold-forged steel in her eyes. And this person who thought he could take “whatever he wanted” from her is about to learn a very different truth, from a women intent on saving her friend.
