After just one Instagram teaser this time around, Radiohead have released another entirely new single, titled ‘Daydreaming’. Furthermore, they have announced a release date for LP9.

‘Daydreaming’ is both subdued and soaring, and accompanied by a music video by Paul Thomas Anderson (with whom Jonny Greenwood has a long-standing work partnership), which features a meandering Thom Yorke on the search for … something.

Radiohead’s new album is released digitally on Sunday evening, May 8th, and the ‘Daydreaming’ music video can be seen on Radiohead’s website this very instant.

Well, this is almost unbearably exciting.

After completely obliterating their entire online prescence last week, Radiohead have started releasing short claymation videos on their Instagram account during the last couple of hours.

Seems like their 9th album is right around the corner!

David Bowie: ‘Lazarus’

David Bowie just released the music video for his magnificent new single, ‘Lazarus’ — a wonderfully brooding, sax-riddled track, which is also featured in Bowie’s own current off-Broadway musical of the same name.

The music video itself is a hauntingly understated affair, all in 1:1 format, where Bowie quite literally puts himself back in the closet.

‘Lazarus’ is the second single off Bowie’s 25th album, ★ (or ‘Blackstar’ for us mortals), which will be released tomorrow, on January 8th — Bowie’s own birthday.

Perfume Genius: ‘Grid’

Perfume Genius just released a music video for ‘Grid’, off his upcoming album ‘Too Bright’.

So far, the singles released from ‘Too Bright’ have been quite a departure from the primarily piano-driven, tear-jerking and hauntingly pretty songwriting of his previous albums. I, for one, am immensely enjoying the ride.

‘Too Bright’ drops on the 22nd.

Flying Lotus feat. Kendrick Lamar: ‘Never Catch Me’

The second single from Flying Lotus’ new album is a jazzy-hiphoppy deal with the always excellent Kendrick Lamar on guest vocals. Moreover, it’s shamelessly catchy. I, for one, am unable to stop my feet from doing a jig every time I happen to listen to it.

That feeling translates quite well to the track’s newly released music video, directed by Hiro Murai, where dead kids are seemingly brought back to life by the sheer catchiness of FlyLo’s beats.
