Röyksopp have announced that their next album, appropriately titled ‘The Inevitable End’, is going to be their final traditional album.

Their final album will contain several strong tracks, featuring vocals from both Norwegian singer Susanne Sundfør and — as demonstrated on this impeccable rework of ‘Monument’ — Swedish all-around pop powerhouse Robyn.
Canadian producer and singer-songwriter Claire Boucher just released the music video for her Blood Diamonds collaboration ‘Go’. The video was directed by Boucher and her brother, and features generous amounts of sand, black lights, humongous scarves blowing in the wind, as well as elaborate hairdos.
Perfume Genius just released a music video for ‘Grid’, off his upcoming album ‘Too Bright’.
So far, the singles released from ‘Too Bright’ have been quite a departure from the primarily piano-driven, tear-jerking and hauntingly pretty songwriting of his previous albums. I, for one, am immensely enjoying the ride.

Dropped months back, ‘Birth in Reverse’ by American singer-songwriter and all-around badass Annie Clark, a.k.a. St. Vincent, still remains one of this year’s strongest singles.
Now, it has an accompanying video to boot. The video is both jagged and vivid, like the song itself, and serves as a gentle but firm reminder that Clark is one of the most interesting musicians around.
