Bleu Provence: Naples’ Wine Royalty

 Bleu Provence, a Zagat-rated French restaurant and recipient of Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence from 2005-2014, announced earlier this month that they have received Wine Spectator’s highest honor, the Grand Award, for the second consecutive year! Featured in the issue of Wine Spectator that hit streets on August 31, 2016, Bleu Provence is among an elite group of only 88 restaurants around the world to achieve this honor.

According to Editor and Publisher of Wine Spectator, Marvin R. Shanken, “[Blue’s] wine list is one of the best in the world, and our inspection determined that Bleu Provence also excels in food, service and ambience.” Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Award listing is currently in its’ 36th year of recognizing the world’s best wine programs.  Jacques and Lysielle Cariot, owners of Bleu Provence, are honored and delighted to receive the Grand Award again this year.  “We are absolutely thrilled to receive Wine Spectator’s highest accolade as our passion is food and wine, and our goal is to provide our guests with a relaxed and extraordinary dining experience every time.  We personally taste every wine before adding it to our list, and we offer a wide array of wines from all over the world.

Traveling to different wineries around the world each year, Jacques returns with the best wine selection possible and the history of each one to share with interested patrons.  The Cave is home to more than 30,000 bottles, representing more than 3,000 different wines.  They are all beautiful representations of their terroirs, including some brilliant wines that are surprisingly inexpensive.
