You had a really bad track record when it came to picking guys, they always played you for months the hurt you unexpectedly. So when Jongho came along, you thought he was just like the others.
It drove Jongho absolutely CRAZY, knowing you were tore up that bad from your past relationships. He did everything he could to show you he was the opposite, he wanted to show you he was down for the long haul.

One night you couldn’t sleep, because you honestly couldn’t figure out what you did to even get to have Jongho in your life, let alone as your boyfriend. You started to feel tears flood your eyes.
Jongho rolled over, attempting to find your body in the darkness so you could cuddle; but you weren’t there. You were sitting with your arms wrapped around your legs, still trying to figure out what you did to deserve an angel like Jongho. When he couldn’t feel you, he called out your name. “Y/N? Baby?” You said with a tearful voice, “Yeah?” Jongho looked at you with so much concern, immediately coming up to console you. “Y/N? Are you ok? Why are you crying?” You were still crying “Be–because I don’t deserve a love as PURE and REAL as yours.” “What makes you say that Love?” “Because I’m scared that if I even try to convince myself for ONE SECOND, I’m gonna hurt myself in the end. I can’t even trust myself anymore…” you started sobbing harder.
Jongho hated that you were tore up this bad from your past relationships, it actually angered him. “Who the hell hurt you so much that you can't even trust yourself?” He said, anger clearly in your voice. “My ex, he would play with my emotions and heart all the time. It was like that for two months straight after we broke up in March. He’d tell me he had feelings and then like a month later he’d tell me the feelings weren’t real.” Confessing this made Jongho’s heart soften, he hated it that someone who is as angelic as you; got hurt this bad. “Well Babygirl, I’m down for you. I’m not going anywhere, I’m here to stay. Even when the storms get dark and hard, because you’re a love worth fighting for. I’m here to stay and I MEAN IT. I love you so much damn Y/N.” You kissed him, “Gah, what did I do to deserve you?” “Your beautiful soul, that I will do anything to protect because your heart is precious and it deserves real love. Trust and believe I’m going to remind you all the time how much you mean to me, every day until the day I die. I love you so fucking much, Y/N!” You kissed “I love you too, Jongie!” He kissed your forehead, and then your lips.
He laid back in the bed, reaching his arms out; summoning you to come cuddle with him. You crawled into his arms, laying your head on his bare chest. Jongho kissed your hair, before starting to pet it until you fell asleep in his arms.
