Jane Carter is a private detective hired by William Brandt, a wealthy diamond merchant who suspects one of his employees of working with reknowned diamond thief Sabine Moreau. Along with her assistant, Benji Dunn, Jane zeroes in on one particular employee - Ethan Hunt, Brandt’s second in command. It isn’t long before she finds irrefutable proof of Hunt’s connection with Moreau and secures his arrest. But in the process of tracking down Hunt she finds links between Brandt’s company and the extense smuggling operation run by Anatoly Sidorov.
