Martinique - Mount Pelée

The formidable looking and beautiful Mount Pelée on Martinique. It is a volcano that last erupted in 1902. I was treated to this amazing view of it from a scenic lookout point earlier this afternoon.
The beaches in the lower portion of this photo are black sand beaches due to the volcanic minerals.
Don’t worry. It has not erupted in over 100 years! It is merely sleeping right now. :)
