I doubt we’ll see team JNPR’s fight so… maybe Weiss/Yang vs someone?
Let’s do this!
Surprise RWBY liveblog!
To be honest I’ve been avoiding watching or thinking about RWBY because nothing good will come from Penny getting hacked and as long as I avoid watching the show I can pretend nothing is going to happen. But the hiatus has been haunting me so… I guess it’s time. Let’s do this?
Okay! The band aid has been ripped off so let’s continue with RWBY! War seems to be a pretty self-explanatory name but who knows, maybe nothing bad will continue to happen? I don’t know so let’s do this!
I guess I was completely wrong!
I didn’t mention it last episode since guns are weird in RWBY but when they showed this team I thought “How’s sniper girl going to fight?” and interestingly enough it looks like she actually is going to fight like a sniper. Fun!
What a good strategy against melee fighters! I mean, no one is strictly a melee user in RWBY since everything is a gun… but you know what I mean.
Things I know:
Why RWBY?
A lot of people keep mentioning it for some reason or another so I guess it’s good? Fingers crossed.
I apologize in advance for any technical problem or delay, I’m not 100% sure about my setup but it should work.
No spoilers please, assume all my questions are rhetorical.
Since time didn’t pass during the pandemic, it’s like I last posted yesterday! But it’s been enough time that when I rewatched the first 7 episodes I actually wanted to watch more instead wanting to throw away my computer. So, let’s do this!
Wait… Raven? I’m resisting the temptation to google Yang’s mom’s name because I can’t actually remember if it’s Raven or not.
No, wait, has red eyes so I guess it’s a Grimm? For some reason I can’t look at the screenshot without thinking “that’s a close up of a small bird” instead of “that’s a big bird”
Unless it’s Qrow? Oh, to be an ornithologist right now and reveal the secrets of this screenshot.
I had a thought while rewatching V8, that it’d be interesting if Raven was the only one close enough to help (she was going to move out her camp last time we saw her, I think, and I doubt some closed borders would be a problem for her) but then I remembered she’s very firmly in the “not my problem” camp.
Huh, and it’s not even a tragic flashback this time.

Thank you so much for reading! It’s always really nice to read comments like yours. :)
Your message actually made go look at my first RWBY reaction and:
1) …I hate it. I do tend to hate everything I write after a week though.
2) I completely forgot about these predictions!
- Bad guy (Roman?) will not be the main villain for the entire series. He’ll get killed or defeated and then the monsters will gain main villain status.
- They are going to spend an episode each introducing the characters shown in the opening.
- Ruby will get bullied at some point because of her whole “getting in two years ahead of schedule” thing
- Her uncle is going to appear and rescue her from something before vanishing into the void where characters too-powerful to exist go during the plot.
Two out of four! Well, the Qrow one is iffy but it kinda counts maybe?
Anyway, thank you again for your message!

Nice catch, thanks. I think I was talking about this moment from the first episode of Volume 2.
Watching it now, with everything we have come to learn about them, was there ever a time when Cinder would have hugged Emerald back?
Nora has enough energy to power a small city.
My main question going into this episode is… why did Ironwood’s Ultimatum ask the same thing of Penny as the hack (assuming the Vault is in Atlas Academy)? I mean, in-universe it makes sense, he doesn’t know what’s going on. But we know. I’m not sure what’s the narrative purpose of duplicating Penny’s orders. Is it to have both Penny and her hacked self agree in what they need to do? To make her “lose” to the virus only because she agrees, without compromising the possibility of her coming back? Hm.
Anyway, I have no idea what the episode’s title could be about so let’s do this!
