No Man’s Sky - Survive

The fourth in the series of short videos outlining the various gameplay mechanics of No Man’s Sky has been released, entitled ‘Survive’.

As the title suggests, this video focusses on the players battle to survive against the elements in the vastness of the over 18 quintillion of planets on offer. Along with the impressive gameplay elements already seen in the Explore, Fight and Trade videos, you’ll also have to contend with toxic fumes, radiation levels, extreme temperatures and hostile lifeforms. Can you survive?

I’ve always been impressed by the scale of the game, with developer Hello Games boasting ‘an infinite procedurally generated galaxy’ but it’s this series of videos that have really got me interested in what it has to offer long term. 

No Man’s Sky is released on 10th Aug 2016 on PS4 and is available to pre-order from The Game Collection now.
