1. For football aficionados who enjoy end to end gameplay and goals galore, PES 18 deserves a moment of your time. It immediately sets out to blow you away with direct gameplay, stunning life-like player movements, and pure entertainment value.

If you are sceptical in any way, or believe that we are full of our own currywurst, then it’s quite fortunate that Konami has confirmed its latest demo launch of PES 2018 for PS4, X1, PS3, and X360 on August 30th. In a somewhat surprising move the demo is restricted to offline mode only, reassuring fans of the franchise that this curveball allows them to provide added structure and support required to ensure a successful full retail launch in 3 weeks time.

Players will be able to take advantage of the co-op and exhibition modes on X1 and PS4, with the iconic Camp Nou and Signal Iduna Park providing the backdrop for showboating those silky skills.

As well as growing it’s catalogue of licensed active footballing talent, including Marco Reus who was in attendance at Gamescom to assist (see what I did there) with the introduction PES, the Legends roster is also growing in stature with my boyhood hero David Beckham being added to the line up, alongside the likes of Robbie Fowler, Romario, and Ian Rush.

We encourage you to check out PES 18 in all it’s glory for yourselves when the demo drops, especially given the support for improved visuals on PS Pro.

PES 2018 is available to preorder from The Game Collection now …
