    A GLIMPSE OF THE FUTURE…

    Well… What a roller-coaster huh! I mean we were perhaps a little naive to think we’d get a release date and or price point - but we can’t help but feel disappointed by it. That being said, Sony’s presentation to us last night on the mystical PlayStation 5 was still something very special and has stoked the already blazing furnace that is our expectations! 

    There was a very mixed reaction to the console’s appearance online after the show however, that certainly has us thinking. Do we love it? Do we hate it? We really don’t know. “It looks like something NASA would launch” and “it looks like a vase” were two of our favourite responses. God bless you, Twitter. It seems the white design was a largely negative amongst gamers too. “It’ll get dirty” and “I’ll get it if it comes in black” were both seen numerous times. In reality this is just a big change for all involved and once the dust settles, we’d think it’ll be embraced on a far wider scale. After all… It’s how it plays that truly matters, right?

    Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

    This was an entrance! After the success of Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4 in 2018, we knew we’d be getting more Spidey! But perhaps not so soon. We have a new hero behind the mask in Miles Morales and we can’t wait to see more of this one as we approach launch. If you haven’t seen it then we’ve dropped it in below for you! Enjoy.

    Horizon Forbidden West

    We’re still kinda peeling ourselves off the ceiling after this one. Anyone else watched it 15 times? Make that 16. “ALOY THERE!” to our favourite title from this showcase. She’s back and more determined than ever to protect this world from the machines that ravage it. A truly beautiful trailer that allows PS5 capabilities to brag their way into our hearts and minds (in truth we were already a very cheap date). Horizon Zero Dawn is a fan favourite to say the least and is talked about as one of the greatest games to drop on the PS4. Is it possible to believe that after a 3 minute trailer, this will be everything we loved and everything more? Haha - yep. We’re sold and we barely saw any gameplay. Eyes taped open as we wait for more on this! Sleep is for the weak. Take another look below!

    Resident Evil Village

    Unleashing a new chapter of survival horror on Playstation 5 will be another entry in the iconic Resident Evil franchise. Entitled ‘Village’, we see the return of ‘Ethan’, a survivor from Resident Evil 7 who’s returned to normal life. Something that rarely features or has no lasting presence when it comes to Resi games. Enter a buffed up Chris Redfield with a gun and we’re having one hell of a good time. Sadly it seems due to this, Ethan is not. We can’t wait to find out more on exactly how all this plays out! As usual, we’ll be playing with a light on. Take a look at the horrifying trailer below and join us in the wait for more!
