Yesterday, Square Enix dropped the shiny new trailer above, which gives a short but detailed account on the story, and where we, the bastards and the outcasts come in. Or should I say, fly out.

It’s the Year 2051, and we’ve been sent to save our species on some far-off planet. We are Outriders. Built the way we wish to be, and following a mysterious signal on a mission across this malevolent world. We’re longing to say that humanity has us to thank for a happy ending, but it seems this place had other plans…
