1. BRAVE THE COLD…

Last week saw the ice broken with the exciting launch of Bandai Namco’s Subnautica: Below Zero! A freezing underwater adventure on an alien planet. You may recall us covering the previous trailer for the game on the blog but if not, we’d strongly suggest checking it out here!

Okay enough of the shameless plugging of blog posts past. Lets cover why we’re all here today! A belated look at the Launch Trailer above and a hype up of what looks to be an incredibly fun game, albeit it COLD! Wrap up warm and click that play button.

Welcome to Planet 4546B, a place where we’ll be far from alone with a range of creatures great and small. It would be wise and wonderful to avoid the danger, but this is no walk in the park. This ice block waiting to be explored is also home to an alien research station - and one in which disaster will ensue.

After one hell of a landing, it seems we’ll somehow arrive undetected and with the element of surprise. Remember, we can here for answers.

“I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. I’LL FIND MY WAY BACK…”

And now ladies and gentlemen, we have a story. Why are we here? We’d hazard a guess at a missing person but time will tell. While this trailer unfolds we’re treated to the lusciously colourful environment we find ourselves submerged in. Yep, a stunning game that’s offering something to interact with or avoid at every stroke!

Then BOOM outta nowhere, missing person confirmed. It seems we’re looking for someone called ‘Sam’ who appears to have left her sleeping quarters in quite a hurry. She’s recorded a message and she hasn’t just popped out for some frozen yogurt. Mmmm. Things are taking a turn…

The planet is a beautiful deathtrap and one we must survive, if we want those answers we came for, that is… Prepare to build habitats, craft weapons, and dive deeper into the world of Subnautica to expose the truth!
