TOSS A COIN TO NEXT GEN!

Can you believe that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released SEVEN years ago today? SEVEN?! We’ve grown up and gone through a whole global pandemic since then, but still it feels like yesterday. To its credit, it feels that way because putting it plainly - the game is timeless.

Of course the success of his Netflix show has kept Geralt in the conversation of “what are you playing at the moment?”, but CD Projekt RED can stand aside this title proudly and say “This is how you make an Action RPG.” I mean, they could also stand beside Cyberpunk and say “don’t do this, guys.” But that’s one for another blog in another timeline and another life.

Today’s announcement running alongside the White Wolf’s seventh birthday, is also the confirmation that Wild Hunt will be making its way to next gen consoles before the end of the year!

No exact date confirmed but this is fantastic news for those (many) of us that are excited to once again take to the Path on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
