LONG LIVE PIRACY!

To be honest, we didn’t think it mattered how long we lived, we wouldn’t be seeing this game set sail. Such has been the time between announcement and yesterday’s livestream - we’d accepted that Skull And Bones may have sunk to the bottom of Davy Jones’ Locker.

However, like all good stories involving pirates, their never say die attitude looks to have not just raised this ship from the depths, but brought it up to be the finest looking vessel on the Indian Ocean! Worth the wait you ask? Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me.

Ubisoft’s unveiling was marked with a number of trailers across the stream, our favourite being the Cinematic coverage that we’ve linked above. In it we see a lowly pirate (bottom of the barrel, if you’ll excuse the pun) in his rise from grubby deckhand to first in command! The rags to riches story is one that every self respecting pirate longs to complete, and thanks to Ubisoft putting in the hard yards over these past 4 years, that voyage is now finally penned for this year!
