Can you believe that was released in 1979… Sorry, this is not a blog in any way affiliated with Ridley Scott. But seeing as you’re now in the mood for horrifying survival in the black abyss, yesterday’s gameplay reveal for the Dead Space remake has sent a chill down our spine that we’ve not felt for some time!

If you’re familiar with this franchise that arrived on the scene in 2008, then you’ll already know something has gone horribly wrong on board the mining ship USG Ishimura! But if not then hit play right now and prep for sweat on your brow! There’s a thought, does sweat even run down your face in space? One for google…

General feedback on yesterday’s gameplay has been largely positive from you guys via our social channels, with only one or two of you a little less impressed. We keep in mind that as the original was released on PS3 and Xbox 360, the jump in graphical improvements is not MASSIVE. But for those looking to be scared out of their wits all over again, or if you’re stepping into the lonely suit of Isaac Clarke for the first time, then you’ll do a MILLION times worse than this absolutely essential game in the survival horror genre… With new content and modern enhancements of course!
