In case you missed it, yesterday’s fresh announcement on Amazon Prime’s Fallout TV show confirmed that it will be coming to the streaming platform on 12th April 2024! I’ll be the first to admit that I fell for the 4th December launch until I realised it was the American (wrong) way of display! Ha.
It’s been on our radars for what feels like forever (2020 if our memories serve) and so another 6 months or so will come and go! Even closer now that it’s NOT December! Silver linings, right.
If you’re unfamiliar, the series will take place in post-apocalyptic Los Angeles where inhabitants are forced to live underground in bunkers to protect themselves from the radiation, mutated crazies and bandits that await in the *once* real world…
After the success of The Last of Us via HBO, video-game-to-TV adaptations are only increasing in popularity and we are absolutely HERE for it.
With the namesake of one of the most iconic gaming franchises of all time and a pretty cool cast to boot (Shout-out Kyle MacLachlan of Twin Peaks fame), all signs point to another big hit in the making!
If you need something to watch in the meantime, may this social media guy suggest you give some love to ‘Silo’ on Apple TV! Thank me later.
