Lots of people want to hear a word from God. My question is: What are you prepared to do after you have heard from Him? 

Every time God speaks to Joseph, the very next verse tells us Joseph got up and got busy. No questioning, no clarifying, no praying about it, no discussing it with others. Just immediate obedience!

Do you realize that when God doesn’t speak a word to you, that may be a blessing? Because if you aren’t ready to obey immediately, God would be setting you up to sin if He gave you a word that you weren’t going to immediately obey. 

Check your heart for a posture of immediate obedience before you ask God to speak to you.
