When you found your brothers almost five years ago, they welcomed you into their life with open arms.  You never expected to meet an archangel so amazing that you would fall head over heels for him.  Every time you looked at Gabriel your heart flew into your throat and you were rendered speechless.  You loved everything about him, and he loved everything about you.  

However, your relationship was far from perfect.  You don’t know how you managed it, but for the last five years you had successfully hidden your relationship with Gabriel from Sam and Dean.  

You shut yourself inside the bathroom with your pregnancy test sitting in the box.  You stared at it for about ten minutes before you actually used it.  All you had to do was wait at least five minutes.  When those five minutes were up, your eyes widened at the stick in your hand.

There was a sudden knock on the bathroom door.  “[Y/N], it’s Gabriel,” the archangel spoke in a hushed voice.  

You put the box in a drawer, shoving the pregnancy test into your pocket.  You weren’t sure if you could tell Gabriel that he was going to be a father.  What if he didn’t want something like this?  What if he would leave you?  You tried to shove these thoughts aside.  You fumbled for the door, pulling Gabriel into the bathroom, shutting the door immediately.  “Gabriel what the hell are you doing here,” you asked.  “Dean and Sam are here.”

“I know the thrill is amazing,” Gabriel mused as he pulled you close.  “How is my lovely [Y/N]?”

If you were going to be honest, you felt quite nauseous.  However, you weren’t going to tell him that.  “I’m fine,” you lied.  “What are you doing here?”

“What a guy can’t visit his girlfriend,” Gabriel remarked with sarcasm.  The more the archangel studied you, the more he could see everything was not fine with you.  He furrowed his eyebrows together, “are you sure you’re okay [Y/N]?”

“Gabriel,” you began in a small voice.  “There’s something I need to tell you.”

“What is it sugar,” Gabriel wondered.  He began to worry that there was something wrong with you.

You exhaled, sitting on top of the counter.  You pulled Gabriel close to you, taking his hands in yours.  “Gabriel this isn’t easy for me to tell you,” you muttered.

“You’re starting to worry me [Y/N],” Gabriel mumbled.

“I’m pregnant,” you announced, a small smile spreading across your lips.  As the words left your mouth you could see a wide smirk spread across Gabriel’s lips.

Gabriel breathed a sigh of relief as he relaxed a bit.  “You almost had me scared [Y/N],” Gabriel chuckled.

“You’re not going to leave me,” you asked softly.

“Sugar, I could never leave you,” Gabriel assured you.  “Just because you’re pregnant doesn’t mean that I would leave you.  Nothing could ever make me leave you.”  Gabriel pressed a short kiss to your lips.  The archangel cradled your face with his hands.  “I’ll be by your side through it all, I promise.”

You leaned into his touch, closing your eyes briefly.  Then another thought occurred to you; Sam and Dean didn’t even know about your relationship with Gabriel.  You knew that would only upset them.  You couldn’t imagine adding a child to that mix.  “What about Sam and Dean,” you asked.  “They don’t even know about us.”  Your brothers weren’t fans of Gabriel and that alone worried you.

“I’ll help you tell them [Y/N],” Gabriel reassured you.  “I’ll have Balthazar, Castiel, and Lucifer join us in the library.  We’ll tell both of our families.  How much do you wanna bet your brothers will be more accepting than mine?”

“I don’t even wanna bet on that,” you laughed hopping off of the counter.  You grabbed Gabriel’s hand, lacing his fingers with yours.  “Let’s just get this done and over with before I have second thoughts about telling anyone.”

As you walked into the library hand in hand with Gabriel everyone turned around.  Everyone’s faces wore the same perplexed expression.  Lucifer was the first to laugh, everyone else looking his way.

“Don’t tell me the two of you are dating,” Lucifer waved his finger from you to Gabriel.  “This is hilarious!”

“Excuse me,” Dean and Sam spoke up in unison.

“That would explain why Gabriel always insists on coming here,” Balthazar mused.

“I’m not surprised little brother,” Lucifer chuckled.  “You always had a soft spot for humans.”

“[Y/N] what the hell is going on,” Dean demanded.

“I- we, have something to tell all of you,” you spoke nervously.  You peered over to Gabriel for help, but it seemed that he was more nervous than he had been a few minutes ago.  There was no way he was going to be able to say it.

“What is it [Y/N],” Castiel wondered, tilting his head slightly.

You cleared your throat, your free hand fidgeting with the pregnancy test in your pocket.  “Gabriel and I have been dating in secret for the past five years,” you divulged.  You held up a finger, silencing your brothers and the angels.  You took the pregnancy test out of your pocket, holding it up.  “And I’m pregnant.”  You let go of Gabriel’s hand, padding over to your brothers.

“Why didn’t you tell us [Y/N],” Dean asked.  “You’re our sister for Christ’s sake.”

“I’m sorry,” you apologized.  “I knew it would only complicate our lives.”

Sam abruptly wrapped his arms around you, tightly hugging you against him.  “Gabriel isn’t our favorite person, but if you’re happy that’s enough for me,” Sam soothed.

Dean exhaled, joining in on the hug.  “[Y/N], you’re the only sister we have.  We’ll always love you no matter what,” Dean mumbled.  “We’ll do whatever we can to help you and your kid.”

Gabriel raised an eyebrow at his brothers, opening his arms.  “Are we going to have a hallmark moment or what,” Gabriel mused.  “I mean you are going to be uncles.”

“This doesn’t leave this bunker,” Lucifer ordered, glaring at his brothers.

“Agreed,” Castiel and Balthazar said in sync.

The four angels huddled together for an awkward hug.  The three of you looked at the angels, smiles spreading across each of your faces.  Who knew a human and an archangel could bring a family of broken angels together?
