Title: Forever Loyal

Characters: Lucifer x Reader, Crowley

Word Count: 858

Warnings: death of a character, there are no spoilers because I made my own ending to last night’s episode, small amount of fluff. *The gif I guess could be counted as a spoiler?*

Crowley smirked at Lucifer as the fallen archangel fell to his knees.  Lucifer withered in pain and all Crowley could do was chuckle.  He had big plans to torture Lucifer.  Crowley wasn’t going to spare Lucifer, not one bit.

“Do you remember [Y/N],” Crowley asked Lucifer, his tone snarky.  “She’s your soul mate isn’t she?  Pretty little thing she is.”

“Keep your hands off of her Crowley,” Lucifer seethed as he clutched his stomach.

“It’s more like she can’t keep her hands off of me,” Crowley mused, his eyes traveling to the door of the thrown room.  His smirk grew as you opened the door to the throne room.  “Oh look who’s here.”

Lucifer caught your gaze.  He couldn’t believe you were with Crowley.  After everything you had been through with him.  You used to hate Crowley as much as he did.  It didn’t make sense to him.

“Hello darling,” Crowley spoke in a low voice.  “I was just about to call for you.”  As you approached Crowley, he wrapped an arm around your waist.

You hated how close Crowley was to you.  If you had it your way, you would have killed him sooner, but that wasn’t apart of your plan.  If he was busy being ten steps ahead of Lucifer, he didn’t have time to know of yours.  That’s what you were hoping for.  

Crowley let his arm drop from your side as he padded up to Lucifer.  You caught Lucifer’s gaze again, winking at him.  You hoped that was subtle enough for him.  Then again, he could always read your thoughts.  Either way, you hoped he got the message.

“I won’t just take your whole world away from you,” Crowley murmured.  “I’ll take your soulmate too.  You’ll have to live every single day and see her happily with me.  That must be painful.”

You reached down, taking the colt out of your boot.  You had stolen it from the British Men of Letters after the whole vampire incident.  It was much easier to get past their security after that.  You knew the recipe for the bullets after teaming up with Sam and Dean.  That was before you even met Lucifer.  You hoped that your memory would serve you right and that you  had the correct recipe.

You cocked the colt, aiming it at Crowley.  It seemed to grab his attention rather quickly.  Crowley turned around, genuine shock washing over his face.  Lucifer seemed to marvel at how quickly the King of Hell went from cocky to terrified.

“What was that about being ten steps ahead,” you asked, a smirk unfolding on your lips.

Crowley swallowed as he looked at the barrel of the gun.  “Where did you get that,” Crowley wondered, glaring at you.  “What the bloody hell do you think you’re doing [Y/N]?”

“I think that I’m giving Lucifer what he deserves,” you stated flatly.  “Freedom from you.”  You took a couple steps forward, keeping a safe distance from Crowley.  “You’re such a selfish and petty man.  Did you really think that I could love you?  Hah!  You don’t know the first thing about soul mates”

Crowley’s face burned with fury.  “You bitch,” Crowley seethed.  “I trusted you.”

“Mistake number one,” you noted confidently.  “I helped Lucifer get out of his cage each and every time.  He’s my priority.  Not you, not anyone else.  Did you think I was going to let you hurt Lucifer?”  You put your finger on the trigger.  “Say goodbye Crowley.”

Before Crowley could even take another breath, you fired the colt.  The bullet went straight through his head as an orange glow emitted from his eyes and mouth.  When his body fell limp to the floor, you exhaled heavily.  You slipped the colt back into its holster inside your boot.

“Are you okay Lu,” you asked as you rushed over to the fallen archangel.  Your eyes peered into his blue orbs.  It was a relief to see him again.

“I should be asking you the same thing [Y/N],” Lucifer joked.  “You had to get all cozy with Crowley.  I mean you didn’t sleep with him right?  I don’t have to dunk you in acid or anything?”

You laughed, shaking your head.  “No way,” you replied.  “He wishes.”  Your eyes scanned over his wings.  They were still as gracious as before.  He was in his true vessel and you were relieved beyond belief.

“How did a girl like you, pull this off,” Lucifer inquired.  “I’m curious as to how many enemies you’ve made, for my sake.”

“I didn’t count,” you shrugged as you stood up with Lucifer.  “It doesn’t matter either.  I have you and that’s all I need.”

It was Lucifer’s turn to chuckle.  “You continue to amaze me angel,” Lucifer remarked playfully.

Now that Crowley was dead, it was only a matter of time before the Winchesters would find out.  You weren’t worried about the BMoL, Dean, Sam, or the angels.  The deck was stacked in your favor and you still had many aces up your sleeve.  No one was going to take Lucifer away from you.  No one was going to hurt him either.
