Mycroft sends her on an important assignment, but it’s compromised and Evie watches as her brother is murdered. Mycroft feels the need to call in his brother, Sherlock, to solve the case and Sherlock realises that Evie’s in far more danger than they first thought.
All Mycroft has done is isolate her, which was exactly the problem that caused all of her destructive behaviour. If Mycroft had allowed their parents, or even Sherlock to visit, I highly doubt that any of the events of The Final Problem would have happened.
And then there is Sherlock. First of all, despite the fact that he can’t remember her, he DEMANDS to visit her. Despite everything Eurus did to him, he still forgives her and gives her the chance to redeem herself, then he constantly visits her to play violin with her to communicate and create a bond with her.
In a short amount of time Sherlock proved himself to be a better brother to Eurus because he treated her like a person, like his sister, rather than a tool to exploit or something to be feared.
Yeah, John wanted to have sex with another woman, but he DIDN’T! He shut it down and didn’t move forward in the ‘affair’ with E. Okay, I know what he did wasn’t right and I’m not saying that what he did was acceptable, I would hate it if I found out it was happening in my relationship, but he still didn’t go further, he didn’t turn it into an affair, he still remained faithful to Mary and to his family, so I believe that he already is the man she believed him to be. He is this man because he said no, even when he had the opportunity, he still said no. John Watson is a good man who will forever be haunted by this guilt, but I think he needs to give himself more credit.
But that’s no excuse to blame Sherlock for anything for as long as he did, that wasn’t okay.
It was obvious. Sherlock Holmes was in love. And not just with anyone, with his best friend, John Watson. He needed to let it out, or the weight of his own secret would surely crush him. And then, Sherlock came up with the perfect solution, one which meant getting it off his chest, whilst never having to voice anything out loud.
So, basically, I wrote this fic and I’m actually quite please with it so it would be really nice if you read it! Also, I believe it’s the first one I’ve written where I haven’t killed anyone off!
Written from two points of view, we see John meet the mysterious, yet utterly captivating Charlotte Homes. Together, they solve crimes, John blogs about it, and something happens that neither one was expecting…
So yeah, I write fan fiction and I’m actually pretty proud of this one!
