Imagine meeting Captain Jack. Imagine at first he’s his usual flirtatious self, and doesn’t really respect you as someone who can handle themselves. But as time goes on, and you repeatedly save his arse from total embarrassment/injury, he starts to get more and more respect for you, until he says his final goodbye with a salute. Of course you don’t let him get away without a hug. :)
