Liang Sili, a Chinese rocket and missile system control scientist, and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), passed away in Beijing on the morning of Thursday, April 14 local time at the age of 91. He is (was) the youngest son of Chinese Scholar and Reformist Liang Qichao (1873-1929) and his eldest brother is (was) Chinese Architect Liang Sicheng (1901-1972), the husband of Chinese Architect and Poet Lin Huiyin (1904-1955).

Liang Sili received his higher education here in the U.S. in the 1940s and his funeral will be held at Beijing’s Babaoshan on Monday, April 18, according to the China News Service.
