here’s some more hartswood dracula series predictions: the steven moffat episode is really good but the sexualised women really ruin it. there’s some weirdo obvious dominatrix fantasy there which also ruins it but at the same time it’s really obvious that steven moffat really really wants to fuck dracula. or to be dracula. it’s both. the mark gatiss episode is markedly less good and is somewhat campy and seems to be suffering from a bad editing job but it doesn’t have the weird creepy sexism. the ep they wrote together reveals that the entirety of the previous 2 episodes has been a dream of a modern jonathan harker who’s been trying to work out his weird repressed crush on a mysterious tall and dark modern man possibly vampire count dracula. there is no resolution. there are at least 3 dick jokes that you aren’t completely sure are dick jokes but they can’t be anything else.
