Imagine -  Fred and George teasing you about your date to the Yule Ball when, unbeknown to them, you actually wanted it to be it Fred. 

“You have a date to the Yule Ball yet then (Y/N)?” Fred asked cheekily, distracting you from your work and causing you to look across the table at the two trouble makers. “No.” You say bluntly, focussing back onto your work to avoid the awkward questions about your date. “Aw come on, we all know that you do.” Fred said with a sly smirk. You felt a blush begin to rise up onto your face and before you could stop it, it was covering your cheeks. “Aha so there is someone?” George offered. You hung your head low as you continued to scratch the quill across the page, making a greater indent then intended and putting a rip through your parchment. “Hmm is it Harry? No can’t be. What about Neville, or Dean…” They both discussed together. You let out a sigh, if only they knew that you had turned down all the offers because you had been waiting for Fred to ask you but it appears now he only saw you as a friend. “You know (Y/N), you could always go with me?” George said however was quickly rebutted by Fred. “Nah not you George, (Y/N) and I would make a lovely couple, she could be beautiful enough for both of us.” Fred said with a wink. Was he actually flirting with you? “So what do you say (Y/N)? Wanna go to the ball with me?”
