Dean and Cas seeing each other at a distance. It’s silly. They’ve only been apart 15 days, but it’s felt like an eternity.
Dean starts running. Cas does too.
Dean stretches out his hand, eager to feel and hold and love again. Cas does too.
Dean reaches for Cas’s waist. Cas jumps into his arms. Dean forgot how heavy Cas was. For one terrible minute, they are falling backwards. Cas must open his wings to lessen the fall, because Dean barely feels when he hits the ground.
Or he’s distracted.
Hands in Dean’s hair, Cas is attacking Dean’s mouth, and Dean, hands rounding Cas’s hips, can barely keep up.
“I missed you,” Cas says, and Dean, breathless, can only nod. “I’m going to kiss you more now.”
“Okay.”
Meanwhile Sam, from a safe distance away, lowers his phone, content with his new blackmail material. He’ll wait for them in the car.
