No but imagine: What if Nine had stayed on for (at least) one more season? Then the first season could have focussed more on getting to know him, his hurts, his past and maybe even discovering a few of his secrets along the way.  His relationship with Rose could really have taken it’s time, with series one focussing on developing their friendship and their bond. We might have had a hint or two of Bad Wolf in series one, but no more than that. Series one would have been all about friendship and adventures. And then, when series two rolled around, Nine and Rose’s friendship would have slowly started to blossom into something more. Something bigger.  Series two could have completely focussed on Bad Wolf until those final agonizing but awesome moments leading up to the big reveal, THAT KISS and then BOOM: Nine regenerates into Ten. IMAGINE THE FEELS.  I mean, they were already so intense the way the series went down, imagine how inTENse they would have been this way.  On second thought…we might not have survived through it O-O
