HELP USA works to give hope to military veterans and others experiencing homelessness and poverty by building homes and offering temporary housing to individuals who have experienced domestic violence and families in crisis.
In August 2018, the organization’s leaders held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of HELP Veterans Village in Perry Point, Maryland. Construction had begun more than a year earlier on the site of the Perry Point VA Medical Center in Cecil County.

The combined new construction and renovations to existing buildings will provide 75 safe, secure, energy-efficient housing units for veterans at risk of homelessness.

Supported by funding from the State of Maryland through a public-private partnership, the housing complex is designed to provide proximity to medical treatment and other support services.

In HELP USA’s more than three decades of existence, it has developed thousands of permanent and transitional housing units in New York and other Eastern states, as well as in Nevada.
