"We have always been equals. Love makes people so" -William Buxton, "Return to Cranford"
You are not alone @sfgirl18….we are all devastated about this! But don’t worry there’s still loads of Rumbeller’s here…Rumbelle is forever, dearie…I never post or share my thoughts, but after today’s devastating news about Emilie’s unwilling exit and the official end of rumbelle. I am beyond heartbroken. OUaT and especially Rumple and Belle had been my emotional center for three years, and the rumbelle fandom has kept me from going to my dark place. I know that everyone will go on to different ships and most already have, I feel alone in a void. These last few years I have been in and out of the hospital, I am dealing with constant pain. The only thing that has kept me going had been my family, friends, and this fandom. I just want to thank each and every one of you for being the wonderful people you are, your art and fics have been a daily treasure. I love you all, goodbye
I’m not going anywhere; neither are most of the other Rumbellers I know. New people are still joining the fandom. You know what the end of canon Rumbelle will mean? They will be all ours now. The fandom’s. No more getting screwed over by A & E. Their story’s not over; it will never be over until we say it is.
We write rumbelle better anyhow, better than the show has ever done.
I’m a massive Rumbelle. I have to be a Rumbelle. Because I was in that episode with them on four, and that performance… Like Emilie’s scene with Bobby. I was gone. I was talking to Bobby about it the day after they filmed that, and he was like ‘I was trying to keep it together, I just couldn’t keep it together’. Because they’ve known each other for like seven years, Bobby and Emilie. And just to do that scene together, and kind of, that final farewell… he just said he lost it. He was a mess.
