Here is my illustration for the “Together Breakfast: A Steven Universe Fanzine”. I based my piece off of one of my favorite episodes (at the time) “Indirect Kiss”, where the Crystal Gems visit Rose’s Healing fountain and find that its not working. I loved the moment that Steven ends up in the arms of the statue of his mother and he looks up at her like she’s there with him. Like all Momma’s boys I relate.

Had some time to do a Jean Grey design to add to my 90s X-Men Lineup. When I was a kid, I would wake up early on Saturday mornings just to record episodes of the 90s X-Men animation tv show. This was back when VHS tapes existed. lol When I got older I transferred all those VHS tapes into DVDs. They even have the original commercials.
X-Men was my favorite show, which also had a huge influence on me as an artist, my love for the comic books, and my goals to be an artist. I have so many old sketchbooks with my fan art for these merry mutants. lol Here’s the lineup so far. When I have more free time, I’m gonna try to get the rest of the team done.
So here are all the character design warm ups I’ve done from the past couple weeks. Stranger Things is such a great show and I cant wait for the sequel to come out next year!
