Man Crush Monday: Shaquille Morris
March Madness is in full swing. I haven’t been paying much attention to it, but the biggest upset for me so far is Wichita State losing to Kentucky in the second round. Mainly because it’s one of the few games I watched, and I’m crushing hard on Wichita State center Shaquille Morris.
Shaq Morris is obviously named after NBA great Shaquille O’Neal. Shaquille O’Neal is one of the sexiest and biggest NBA players ever, so it’s nice seeing younger players named after him follow in his footsteps. Shaq Morris seems to be a much better shooter than the original Shaq. Morris scored a lot of points which helped Wichita State put up a tough match for Kentucky.
Morris is currently a junior at Wichita State. The big man is 6′8 and weighs in around 265 lbs. Centers are always my favorite players in basketball and football since they’re usually the biggest guys on the team. Shaq definitely stood out on the court. Not just for his size, but also his impressive plays.
I’m disappointed my first time seeing the sexy Shaq Morris play will be the last time since the Shockers have now been eliminated from the NCAA tournament.
Guess I’ll just have to hope Shaq Morris follows Shaq O’Neal’s footsteps and finds his way in the NBA.
