Assemblyman Frank Skartados

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Brother Frank Skartados. He was a well-respected and popular NYS Assemblyman and died on Sunday, April 15 from pancreatic cancer at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital. Frank was a member of Hudson Valley Chapter 115 in Newburgh, NY. Frank’s district, the New York 104th, is in the Mid-Hudson Valley, and includes the cities of Newburgh, Beacon and Poughkeepsie and the towns of Newburgh, Marlborough and Lloyd. Frank was proud to have the only district in New York whose cities and towns all border the Hudson River.
His wake will be held on Thursday, April 19 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 9 pm. Also, on Friday, April 20 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm.
