DIY Space Invaders kimono ⊟
Okay, so the first step to making this kimono is “get a kimono” … actually, it’s “get two kimono.” So designer Anji Salz didn’t quite make this from whole cloth, as it were, instead turning two monotone summer kimono into the beautiful black/red creation here, with some custom transfers for the Invader scene. That’s a smart use of resources! And it still looks like quite the sewing effort. Via Inside-Games.
I wish I could pull off the futuristic, modern kimono style, but I’d just look like Glenn Shadix in Demolition Man. Or Glenn Shadix in Beetlejuice.
