Five things you missed from Japan’s Nintendo Direct ⊟
As great as North America’s Nintendo Direct stream was today, Japan enjoyed even more announcements from their presentation!
1. This yellow, Pikachu-faced 2DS LL/XL coming out in November!
The country will also receive the Lime/Black and Lavender/White 2DS LL/XLs next month. We’re getting the Orange/White and Poké Ball systems at least!
2. Phantasy Star Online 2 Cloud releasing next year
The “Cloud” mentioned in the title indicates this will be a cloud-streamed version similar to the Dragon Quest X versions released for 3DS and mobile, requiring an internet connection to run.
3. Another Dillon’s Rolling Western game for 3DS!
This sequel, titled The Dead Heat Breakers, releases to Japan next year, and apparently it will also have a retail version this time.
4. New. Motherfucking. Style Savvy.
The 3DS game is coming to Japan as Girl’s Mode 4 this November 2nd, then to Europe as New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star on November 23rd, so that’s nice for those two regions.. Nintendo of America plz 😭😭
5. Crypt of the Necro Dancer: Switch Edition
This rhythm-based roguelike previously released for PC, PS4, PS Vita, and iOS, but you’ll be able to get it for the best system of all soon. Nintendo featured a few other indie titles during its stream, including a cute adventure game called Pan Pan that’s releasing in all the major regions tomorrow!
