Detective Pikachu is coming this March, and maybe his first case should be why his amiibo is so dang huge ⊟
We’re talking about the game here, not the film that will feature Ryan Reynolds. This Nintendo 3DS title releases on March 23, 2018 worldwide!

Detective Pikachu includes all the chapters of the 2016 Japan-exclusive Nintendo eShop release, Detective Pikachu – Birth of a New Duo, but adds further content that completes the story. The game features new locations to explore, as well as a colorful cast of both Pokémon and human characters.
A special Detective Pikachu amiibo is in the works, too. This amiibo features a sleuthing Pikachu that’s larger than the standard amiibo, and when used with your game, it can unlock short videos that may contain helpful hints for your investigation.”
Detective Pikachu’s catchphrase in the game will be “A bolt of brilliance!”, but processing the titanic size of this amiibo is consuming so much of my brain’s bandwidth that I can’t yet deliver an opinion on this sequence of words.
