And dramatic cutscenes, and a fully voiced cast of characters… I’m actually starting to get a Crystal Bearers vibe – in a very specific way. I don’t think the games will play anything alike.
But both this and Crystal Bearers take a series with established presentation, classic turn-based gameplay, etc., and mold them into a weird funhouse mirror version of a modern AAA-style game. For Crystal Bearers, that translated into a really bizarre game with high production values, and I can see that happening here too.
