Sooeun Lee
(Director for Theaterperformance)
studied German language and literature in Korea and stage design at the
Graduate School at the University of Arts Berlin, where she was awarded a
yearlong fellowship in 2008. She is an artist who assumes diverse roles and
traverses a wide variety of performance genres. As a director and a playwriter,
she looks for the musical rhythms embedded in daily life, in language, and in
human relationships. Like a composer writing musical notes on a page, she
weaves together stories of movement, image, and sound. She focuses not on
narrating a plot but on communicating the story’s structure. She strives to
create performances that
come together as one larger picture, with all corresponding elements—image,
movement, sound, and space—working in tandem structurally, each complementing the others.
Since 2010 she directed several
food art projects : The Flying Soo-ing Monster (performance/2010),
Koreanisches Essen (exhibition/2010), chicken Himmel
(video-performance/2013), The Universal in a bowl (political religious food
performance/2019)
例として、The Flying Soo-ing Monster(パーフォーマンス/ 2010)、Koreanisches Essen(展覧会 / 2010)、chicken Himmel(ビデオ・パフォーマンス/ 2013)、The Universal in a bowl(政治宗教的フード・パフォーマンス/ 2019)などがあげられます。
