Cómpeta

WHERE I HAVE BEEN 269
Cómpeta is an extremely attractive village in the Axarquía. In fact, it is known as the pearl of the Axarquía. It is located seven hundred metres above sea level with stunning views of the surrounding mountains, countryside and Mediterranean.

Plaza Almijara is an attractive square in the centre of the town. It is dominated by a magnificent sixteenth century church.
