"Our gigantic problem with portions: why are we all eating too much?" | Life and style | The Guardian

Interesting how we can adapt so easily to bigger, more, just a bit more, “I’m going to need a bigger plate with sideboards - surely it’s been a part of our necessary feast or famine nature. Life is so much more difficult when we do not know when or from where our next meal will come from. It puts us in a mode of eating & almost immediately seeking our next meal because hunger is such a driving force.
