Doug Varone selected her for his DEVICES choreography program in 2015. In 2014, she independently produced a dance film, “Echo”, through Kickstarter funding. She partnered with writer Megan Mayhew Bergman to create a dance inspired by her “Almost Famous Women” collection. She has also collaborated as dancer and violinist with Sarai Moore’s Decanted Youth. Annie is currently at work on “Marigram”, an international collaboration with Cairo-based dance artist Mohamed Yousry Shika that is inspired by the mass protests of Tiananmen Square in 1989 and Tahrir Square in 2011. ✨Learn more about our first workshop series at dbwdworkshop.com✨
