Season two of the Star Wars streaming series on Disney+ certainly upped the amount of world-building and mythology-making as it brought both new and familiar characters into a post-Return of the Jedi world of the New Republic. Favreau’s episodic space western has a deft touch in fleshing out or rewriting this particular corner of the Lucasfilm universe. It has felt particularly deliberate while also pleasing fans begging for more.
